     Robert Henry Fowler was born on 28 June 1857.1 He was the son of Robert Fowler and Laetitia Mabella Coddington.2 He married Mabel Glyn, daughter of Hon. St. Leger Richard Glyn and Florence Elizabeth Williams, on 2 June 1890.3 He died on 11 May 1957 at age 99.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 85th King's Shropshire Light Infantry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Meath in 1899.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Meath.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Meath.1 He lived at Rahinston, County Meath, Ireland.1 He lived at Rathmolyon, County Meath, Ireland.1

     Lt.-Gen. Sir John Sharman Fowler was born on 29 July 1864.1 He was the son of Robert Fowler and Laetitia Mabella Coddington.2 He married Mary Olivia Henrietta Brooke, daughter of John Monck Brooke and Edwina Virginia Joanna Fitzpatrick, on 10 August 1904.1 He died on 20 September 1939 at age 75.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1895.1 He fought in the Tirah Expeditionary Force, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Chitral Campaign, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Boer War, in the South Africa Field Force, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1918.1 He was General Officer Commanding of the Forces in China between 1922 and 1925.1 He was Colonel Commandant of the Royal Signals between 1923 and 1934.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1926.1 He retired from the military in 1928, with the rank of Lieutenant-General, late of the Royal Engineers.1

     Mary Olivia Henrietta Brooke was the daughter of John Monck Brooke and Edwina Virginia Joanna Fitzpatrick.2 She married Lt.-Gen. Sir John Sharman Fowler, son of Robert Fowler and Laetitia Mabella Coddington, on 10 August 1904.1 She died in July 1961.1
      From 10 August 1904, her married name became Fowler.
