     Lilian McKenzie French was born on 4 August 1875.1 She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir George Arthur French and Janet Clarke Innes.2 She married, firstly, Captain Telford Mackenzie Young on 24 February 1902.1 She married, secondly, Hon. William Herbert Wood on 2 November 1909.1 She died on 19 February 1949 at age 73.1
     From 24 February 1902, her married name became Young. From 2 November 1909, her married name became Wood.1

     Captain Telford Mackenzie Young married Lilian McKenzie French, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir George Arthur French and Janet Clarke Innes, on 24 February 1902.1 He died in 1906.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th Royal Lancers.1

     From 29 January 1902, her married name became Sinclair-Maclagan.1
