     Helias de Dundas was the son of Uthred (?).2 He died circa 1165.1
     To denote his alliance with the Earls of March he adopted for his armorial bearings their ensigns, differing as a mark of cadency in the colours only.1 He had in the reign of King David I confirmation of lands of Dundas, and assumed that name.1
