     Sir John Wedderburn of Blackness, 5th Bt. was born on 4 August 1704.2 He is the son of Sir Alexander Wedderburn of Blackness, 4th Bt. and Katharine Scott.3,4 He married Jean Fullarton, daughter of John Fullarton of that Ilk, on 22 October 1724.2
     He gained the title of 5th Baronet Wedderburn.
