     Annie McCaskill was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir John McCaskill.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Marion Durand, son of Lt.-Col. Henry Percy and Marion Durand, on 28 March 1843.1 She died in August 1857.1
      From 28 March 1843, her married name became Durand.

Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Mortimer Durand1

     Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Mortimer Durand was born on 14 February 1850.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Marion Durand and Annie McCaskill.2 He married Ella Rebe Sandys, daughter of Teignmouth Sandys, on 1 March 1875.1 He died on 8 June 1924 at age 74.1
     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1872 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 He was with the Bengal Civil Service in 1873.1 He was in the Foreign Office and political department.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1889.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.) in 1894.1 He held the office of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Persia between 1894 and 1900.1 He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1900.1 He held the office of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Spain between 1900 and 1903.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1901.1 He held the office of Ambassador to the U.S.A. between 1903 and 1906.1

     Ella Rebe Sandys was the daughter of Teignmouth Sandys.2 She married Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Mortimer Durand, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Marion Durand and Annie McCaskill, on 1 March 1875.1 She died on 29 April 1913.1
      From 1 March 1875, her married name became Durand.

Lt.-Col. Henry Marion Durand1

     Lt.-Col. Henry Marion Durand was born on 23 February 1876.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Mortimer Durand and Ella Rebe Sandys.2 He died on 19 December 1954 at age 78, unmarried.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1914.1 He gained the rank of Major and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 9th Lancers.1

      From 19 December 1923, her married name became Wilmot.

     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Engineers.1
