     Ellen Rice was the daughter of Francis William Rhys, 5th Baron Dynevor and Harriet Ives Barker.2 She married Reverend James Gerald Joyce on 20 September 1855.1 She died on 21 May 1924.1
     Ellen Rice was Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.).1 Her married name became Joyce. She was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1
