     Hon. Ellen Rice was the daughter of Francis William Rice, 5th Baron Dynevor of Dynevor and Harriet Ives Barker.2 She married Reverend James Gerald Joyce on 20 September 1855.1 She died on 21 May 1924.1
     She was appointed Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)1 From 20 September 1855, her married name became Joyce. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1

     Marian Gurney was born in 1863 at Surrey, England.2 She was the daughter of Henry Edmund Gurney and Jane Birkbeck.3,2 She married Rev. Hon. William Talbot Rice, son of Francis William Rice, 5th Baron Dynevor of Dynevor and Eliza Amelia Knox, on 10 November 1887.1 She died on 17 April 1950.1
     From 10 November 1887, her married name became Talbot Rice.
