     Colonel Morton Robert Eden was born on 9 May 1830.1 He was the son of Robert Eden and Frances Warburton.2 He married Frances Maria Barnardiston, daughter of Nathaniel Clarke Barnardiston, on 31 March 1864.1 He died on 30 August 1900 at age 70.1
     Colonel Morton Robert Eden gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 56th Regiment.1
