     Maria Elena Seunig, Condesa de Basus was born on 7 September 1925 at Trieste, Italy. She was the daughter of Egon Seunig and Nella Penelope Gialdini. She married Franz Josef Erzherzog von Österreich, son of Leopold Salvator Erzherzog von Österreich and Blanca de Castilla de Borbón, Infanta d'España, on 21 January 1962 at Zürich, Switzerland. She died on 20 August 1994 at age 68 at Baden, Germany.
     Maria Elena Seunig, Condesa de Basus gained the title of Condesa de Basus.
