     Henry George Tierney Elton was born on 6 May 1825.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. and Sarah Smith.2 He married Georgina Flora Willis, daughter of Captain W A Willis, on 6 May 1856.1 He died on 12 October 1905 at age 80.1
