     Edmond Harry Elton was born on 3 May 1846.1 He is the son of Edmond William Elton and Lucy Maria Rice.2 He married Mary Agnes Elton, daughter of Sir Arthur Hallam Elton, 7th Bt. and Rhoda Susan (?), on 7 July 1868.1 He died on 17 July 1920 at age 74.1
     Edmond Harry Elton was Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.).1 He was educated Bradfield and Jesus College Cambridge.1 He was also known as 8th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was CC Somerset, High Sheriff , Major and Honour Lieutenant-Colonel 1st Vol Battalion Gloucester Artillery, Lord of Manor and Patron Living St John's, Clevedon in 1895.1
