     Sir Edward Mansel, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Anthony Mansel and Jane Price.² He married Jane Wyndham, daughter of Humphrey Wyndham.¹ He died before 10 March 1690/91, without surviving male issue.¹
     Sir Edward Mansel, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Mansel, of Muddlescombe, co. Carmarthen [E., 1622] on 27 October 1654.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Carmarthshire in 1661.¹ He lived at Muddlescombe, Carmarthenshire, Wales.¹

     Richard Mansel was the son of Sir Francis Mansel, 1st Bt. and Catharine Morgan.² He married Catherine Morgan, daughter of Rees Morgan, on 14 February 1612/13.¹ He died from 1634 to 17 March 1635/36.¹

     Catherine Morgan was the daughter of Rees Morgan.² She married Richard Mansel, son of Sir Francis Mansel, 1st Bt. and Catharine Morgan, on 14 February 1612/13.¹ She died on 27 January 1631/32.¹
     From 14 February 1612/13, her married name became Mansel.

     Anthony Mansel was baptised on 6 March 1613/14.³ He was the son of Richard Mansel and Catherine Morgan.² He married Mary Carne, daughter of Sir Edward Carne and Ann Mansel Williams.¹ He died in December 1670 at age 56.¹
     Anthony Mansel graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1635 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹

     Sir Edward Carne married Ann Mansel Williams, daughter of Sir Rowland Williams and Ceciel Mansel.²
