     Adam Durnford Gordon was born on 22 August 1796.1 He is the son of William Gordon and Frances Elrington.2 He married Harriet Elizabeth Gordon, daughter of Robert Gordon, on 12 September 1829.1 He died on 16 June 1857 at age 60.1
     Adam Durnford Gordon was Ensign 47th , in the Honourable East India Company Service Bengal 1818–31, Prof Oriental Languages Cheltenham College 1846 Regt 1814.1 He was educated RMC.1

     Anne Baird was the daughter of William Baird. She married Colonel George Gordon, son of Robert Gordon Of Hallhead And Gordon and Lady Henrietta Gordon, on 17 January 1790.1 She died in 1803.1

     Robert Gordon was born on 4 November 1790.3 He is the son of Colonel George Gordon and Anne Baird.2 He married Jane Fergusson on 13 July 1825.3 He died on 26 December 1844 at age 54, ), dau of Walter Little Gilmour 6th of Craigmillar and 11th of Liberton (see GILMOUR OF CRAIGMILLAR, B).3 He died on 16 April 1828 at age 37, surviving issue:.3
     Robert Gordon was Major 21st N Br Fusiliers.3
