Sir William Young, 1st Bt. was born in 1725.2 He is the son of William Young and Margaret Nanton.3 He married Sarah Fagge, daughter of Charles Fagge and Elizabeth Turner.2 He died on 8 April 1788, having by her had, with five daughters:.2
He gained the title of 1st Baronet Young, of Dominca.1 In 1747 married 2nd Elizabeth (born 1729.2 He was Lieutenant Governor Dominica, bought Delaford Manor, Iver, Buckinghamshire in 1767.2 On 2 May 1769 so created.2 He was died ), only child of Brook Taylor, DCL, Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) (and Sec), of Bifrons, Kent on 12 July 1801.2
