     William Cuningham was born on 4 April 1787.1 He was the son of Alexander Cuningham and Sarah Reid.2 He married Rebecca Armstrong, daughter of William Armstrong, on 31 December 1816.1 He died on 11 August 1838 at age 51,, with other issue:.1
     William Cuningham was Major in the Honourable East India Company Service.1

     Rebecca Armstrong was the daughter of William Armstrong.2 She married William Cuningham, son of Alexander Cuningham and Sarah Reid, on 31 December 1816.1 She died on 19 April 1875.1
     Rebecca Armstrong was Commissioner of Nuddea.1 Bengal.1 Her married name became Cuningham. She was in the Honourable East India Company Service.1
