     Hadley D'Oyly was the son of Rev. Sir Hadley D'Oyly, 5th Bt. and Henrietta Maynard Osborne.1 He died in 1775 at Bunker Hill, Massachusetts, U.S.A., killed in action.1
     Hadley D'Oyly gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Marines.1 He fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775.1
