     William Farquharson was born circa 1677.1 He is the son of Alexander Farquharson of Invercauld and Elizabeth Mackintosh.2 He died in 1694,, and was succeeded by his bro: unmarried.1

     John Farquharson was the son of Alexander Farquharson of Invercauld and Elizabeth Mackintosh.2 He married Isobel Burnett, daughter of Sir Alexander Burnett of Craigmyle.1 He married Jean Forbes, daughter of Thomas Forbes.1 He died in 1750.1
     On 15 July 1697 matric arms at LO.1 In 1715 Jacobite Rising hence imprisoned London.1 In 1720 Burgess of: Inverness , Perth 1720, Stirling 1728 and Queensferry 1728.1 In April 1720 married 3rd Margaret (d 1730), daughter and co-heiress of Lord James Murray of Dowally (see ATHOLL, D).1 Circa 1726 sold Wardhouse to John Gordon of Law (see BLG 1937 GORDON OF WARDHOUSE).1 In 1746 according to General Wade's Report , Invercauld, whose Gaelic style was Mac'ic Fhionnlaidh, could put 500 clansmen in the field.1 In 1952 married 2nd Christian Menzies of Weem, widow of Patrick Steuart of Ballechin (see BLG ).1

     Francis Farquharson of Finzean is the son of Alexander Farquharson and Margaret Keith.2 He married Margaret Arbuthnot, daughter of Alexander Arbuthnot of Findowrie.3 He died in March 1707.3
     In 1666 retoured heir to his father.3

     Francis Farquharson was the son of Alexander Farquharson of Monaltrie and Anne Farquharson.2 He married Margaret Eyre, daughter of Rowland Eyre, in 1763.1 He died in 1791, without issue , when he was succeeded in Monaltrie by his n.1
     Francis Farquharson lived Monaltrie.1 In 1745 the ‘Baron Ban' who took part in Rising of , and was taken prisoner after Culloden, confined in England until 1766, confiscated estates restored to him 1784.1
