     Robert Farquharson of Finzean was the son of Francis Farquharson of Finzean and Margaret Arbuthnot.2 He married, firstly, Anne Gordon, daughter of Sir James Gordon of Lesmoir, 5th Bt..1 He married, secondly, Mary Keith, daughter of Sir William Keith of Ludquhairn, 4th Bt..1 He died on 12 April 1742.1
      On 5 March 1708 Finzean with Tilliegarmonth and other lands were erected into the Barony of Finzean by Crown Charter.1

     Francis Farquharson of Finzean and Inverchatt, Boldify and Tilliegarmonth was the son of Robert Farquharson of Finzean and Anne Gordon.2 He married Charlotte Fraser, daughter of Thomas Fraser, 8th of Ardachy.1 He died on 9 August 1786, without issue.1
      On 20 December 1744 he was served heir to his father.1 On 27 September 1784 he entailed his lands to his half-brother, William and his cousins Francis of Clachaig and Alexander of Balfour and their heirs male, and then their heirs female.1
