     Henry Noel Atkinson was born circa 1889.1 He was the son of Reverend Arthur Atkinson and Ursula Mary Cotton.1 He died on 22 October 1914, killed in action.1
     Henry Noel Atkinson was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Cheshire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1
