     Patrick Timson Lucas was born on 14 September 1933.1 He is the son of Lieutenant Ralph John Scott Lucas and Dorothy Timson.2 He married Anne Westcott, daughter of J. Westcott, on 1 March 1958.1
     Patrick Timson Lucas was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the R.M.R.1 He was decorated with the award of Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.R.D.) (and bar).1
