     Lucia Aurora di Ramos was the daughter of Don Vicente di Ramos.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir John Ramsay Slade, son of Lt.-Gen. Marcus John Slade and Charlotte Ramsay, on 9 September 1871.1 She died on 21 October 1872.1
     From 9 September 1871, her married name became Slade.

Sir John Ramsay Slade, son of Lt.-Gen. Marcus John Slade and Charlotte Ramsay, on 7 November 1882.1 She died on 17 June 1935 at age 75 at 8 Lowndes Street, Westminster, London, England.1,2

     Lucia Slade was born on 23 August 1883.1 She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Ramsay Slade and Janet Little Wood.2 She married Sir Charles Murray Marling, son of Sir William Henry Marling, 2nd Bt. and Mary Emily Abraham, on 2 September 1909.1 She died on 11 September 1927 at age 44.1
     From 2 September 1909, her married name became Marling. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1

     Sir William Henry Marling, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 July 1835.2 He was the son of Sir Samuel Stephens Marling, 1st Bt. and Margaret Williams Cartwright.2 He married Mary Emily Abraham, daughter of John Abraham, on 2 May 1860.2 He died on 19 October 1919 at age 84.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Marling, of Stanley Park and Sedbury Park, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1882] on 22 October 1883.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Monmouthsire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1888.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.2

     Major Montagu Maule Slade was born on 16 January 1849.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Marcus John Slade and Charlotte Ramsay.2 He died on 29 February 1884 at age 35 at El TebG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Hussars.1 He fought in the Battle of El Teb on 29 February 1884.1

     Lt.-Gen. Frederick George Slade was born on 17 December 1851.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Marcus John Slade and Charlotte Ramsay.2 He married Emmeline Charlotte Delap Bond, daughter of Major Wadham Wyndham Bond, on 8 August 1885.1 He died on 16 August 1910 at age 58.1
     He fought in the Kaffir War in 1878.1 He fought in the Zulu War in 1879.1 He fought in the Transvaal Campaign in 1881.1 He fought in the Egypt Campaign in 1882.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1884.1 He fought in the Mile Expedition between 1884 and 1885.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He was Inspector-General of the Royal Garrison Artillery at HQ between 1902 and 1906.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Royal Artillery.1
