     Edward Wynter Bulteel was born in 1887 at India.1 He was the son of Edward Wynter Bulteel.1 He married Horatia Margaret Gaskell, daughter of Thomas Kynaston Gaskell and Horatia Octavia Hugo, on 29 July 1914 at Cobham, Surrey, England.1 He died on 10 June 1915, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy, on H.M. Torpedo Boat 12 .1

     He was educated at Royal School of Armagh, College Hill, County Armagh, Ireland.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.2 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (M.I.Mech.E.).2 He was Chief Mechanical Engineer, South Railway between 1923 and 1937.2 He lived at Northbrooke, Ashford, Kent, England.1
