     Edmund Burke Roche, 1st Baron Fermoy was born in August 1815.2 He was the son of Edward Roche and Margaret Honoria Curtain.1 He married Elizabeth Caroline Boothby, daughter of James Brownell Boothby and Charlotte Cunningham, on 22 August 1848.2 He died on 17 September 1874 at age 59.2
     Edmund Burke Roche, 1st Baron Fermoy was Ld-Lt and Custos Rotulorum County –74, Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Lib) County Cork 1837–55 and Marylebone 1855–69 Cork 1856.2 He was County Cork (I).2 He gained the title of 1st Baron Fermoy. On 10 September 1856 created.2

     Elizabeth Caroline Boothby was born in 1821. She was the daughter of James Brownell Boothby and Charlotte Cunningham.1 She married Edmund Burke Roche, 1st Baron Fermoy, son of Edward Roche and Margaret Honoria Curtain, on 22 August 1848.2 She died on 26 April 1897.2
     Her married name became Roche.

     Edward Roche was born on 13 July 1771.1 He was the son of Edmund Roche and Frances Coghlan.2 He married Margaret Honoria Curtain in 1805.1 He died in March 1855 at age 83.1
     Edward Roche lived Trabolgan and Kildinan.1
