     Roland Frederick Duncombe-Anderson was born on 18 April 1908.1 He was the son of Wilfred Arthur Duncombe-Anderson and Margaret Louise Anderson.2 He married Elizabeth Frances Mawson, daughter of Algernon F. A. Mawson, on 31 August 1935.1 He died in May 1940 at age 32 at Belgium, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 1st Battalion, East Surrey Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

Mawson.2 She married, firstly, Roland Frederick Duncombe-Anderson, son of Wilfred Arthur Duncombe-Anderson and Margaret Louise Anderson, on 31 August 1935.1 She married, secondly, Brigadier Howard Greene, son of George Percy Greene, on 19 June 1952.1
      From 31 August 1935, her married name became Duncombe-Anderson. From 19 June 1952, her married name became Greene.1 She lived in 2003 at Glebe Cottage, Bishopstron, Warminster, Wiltshire, England.1
