     Thomas Floyd was born in 1751.1 He was the son of John Floyd and Mary Bate.2 He died on 16 October 1778, aboard H.M.S. Conqueror off Sandy Hook, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 In 1773 he served on the Arctic Expedition.1

     Caroline Floyd was the daughter of John Floyd and Mary Bate.2 She married John Christopher Ridout.1 She died on 7 March 1821.1

     Rebecca Juliana Darke was the daughter of Charles Darke.2 She married General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt., son of John Floyd and Mary Bate, on 29 January 1791.1 She died on 3 February 1802.1
     From 29 January 1791, her married name became Floyd.

Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Floyd, 2nd Bt.1

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Floyd, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 September 1793.1 He was the son of General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Juliana Darke.2 He married Mary Murray, daughter of William Murray, on 30 August 1821.1 He died on 4 March 1868 at age 74.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Royal Hussars.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Floyd [U.K., 1816] on 10 January 1818.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to General William Clinton in Sicily and Spain.1

Miranda Floyd1

     Miranda Floyd was the son of General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Juliana Darke.2 He married Lt.-Gen. Sir Joseph Fuller on 18 November 1815.1 He died on 23 September 1869.1

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Joseph Fuller married Miranda Floyd, son of General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Juliana Darke, on 18 November 1815.1 She died in 1841.1
     She gained the rank of Colonel in the 75th Regiment.1 She was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.)1 From 18 November 1815, her married name became Floyd.
