     Sir Andrew George Forbes-Leith of Fyvie, 3rd Bt. was born on 20 October 1929 at Tertowie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Sir Robert Ian Algernon Forbes-Leith of Fyvie, 2nd Bt. and Ruth Avis Barnett.3 He married Jane Kate McCall-McCowan, daughter of David McCall-McCowan of Dalwhat, on 17 July 1962.1 He died on 4 November 2000 at age 71.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, England.1 He was Royal Artillery in 1948.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Forbes-Leith, of Jessfield, near Edinburgh, co. Midlothian [U.K., 1923] on 17 March 1973.1
