Sir Philip Nisbet of that Ilk1

     Sir Philip Nisbet of that Ilk was the son of George Nisbet of that Ilk and Elizabeth Cranstoun.2 He married Elizabeth Haldane, daughter of John Haldane, 7th of Gleneagles and Elizabeth Lundin, circa 11 March 1581/82.1 He died before 1630.2
     He was invested as a Knight in 1605.2 He held the office of Representative at Scots Parliament in 1625, for Berkwickshire.2

     Sir George Home, 6th of Wedderburn was born in 1552.2 He was the son of Sir David Home, 5th of Wedderburn.3 A contract for the marriage of Sir George Home, 6th of Wedderburn and Jane Haldane was signed on 15 January 1577/78.1 He died on 24 November 1616.1
     He held the office of Comptroller of Scotland in 1597.1
