     Mary Elizabeth Annie Dunne was born on 14 December 1859 at Emerald, Victoria, AustraliaG.1 She was also reported to have been born on 14 December 1859 at Auckland, New ZealandG.1 She was the daughter of Captain John Joseph Dunne and Isabella George-Bynon.1 She married, firstly, Reverend Henry Peter Higginson in October 1888 at Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.G.1 She married, secondly, Egerton Tertius Clairmonte in 1891 at The Strand, London, EnglandG.1 She and Egerton Tertius Clairmonte were divorced in 1901.1 She married Reginald Edward Golding Bright, son of Dr. John Meaburn Bright and Fanny Kenyon Mallinson, in 1901 at London, EnglandG.1 She died on 12 August 1945 at age 85 at London, EnglandG.1
     Mary Elizabeth Annie Dunne used the pen-name of George Egerton.1 Her name was legally changed to Mary Chavelita Dunne.1 From October 1888, her married name became Higginson.1 From 1891, her married name became Clairmonte.1 From 1901, her married name became Bright.1

     He wrote the book The Africander: a Plain Tale of Colonial Life, published 1896.1
