     Anna Charles Maitland Makgill Crichton was born on 18 February 1858 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Julian Maitland Makgill Crichton of Rankeillour and Anna Campbell Jarvis.¹ She married Thomas Henry Yorke Trotter on 28 April 1887.¹ She died on 28 March 1943 at age 85.¹
      From 28 April 1887, her married name became Trotter.¹

     Mary Scott Maitland Makgill Crichton was the daughter of David Maitland Makgill Crichton and Emily Bailey.¹ She married Major Robert Edward Fitzmayer Wemyss, son of General H. Manley Wemyss, on 1 February 1902.¹ She died on 21 January 1923.¹
      From 1 February 1902, her married name became Wemyss.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. James Henry Maitland Makgill Crichton was born on 18 May 1885.¹ He was the son of David Maitland Makgill Crichton and Emily Bailey.¹ He married Emily Christina Weir-Maccoll, daughter of Hugh Weir-Maccoll, on 28 January 1908.¹ He died in 1948.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.¹
