     Catharine O'Kelly was the daughter of Teigh 'Dubh' O'Kelly and unknown O'Kelly.2 She married Richard Bermingham, 9th Lord Athenry, son of Edmund Bermingham, before 1540.1
     From before 1540, her married name became Bermingham.1 After her marriage, Catharine O'Kelly was styled as Baroness Athenry between 1547 and 1550.

     Edmond Bermingham, 10th Lord Athenry was born in 1540.1 He was the son of Richard Bermingham, 9th Lord Athenry and Catharine O'Kelly.1 He married Joan O'Shaughnessy, daughter of Sir Roger O'Shaughnessy and Honora O'Brien, circa 1560.1 He died in 1614.1
     He succeeded as the 10th Lord Athenry [I., c. 1280] in 1580.1

     Joan O'Shaughnessy was born illegitimately before 1550.1 She was the daughter of Sir Roger O'Shaughnessy and Honora O'Brien.1 She married Edmond Bermingham, 10th Lord Athenry, son of Richard Bermingham, 9th Lord Athenry and Catharine O'Kelly, circa 1560.2 She died in 1593.2
     She was also known as Margaret.1 From circa 1560, her married name became Bermingham.2 After her marriage, Joan O'Shaughnessy was styled as Baroness Athenry in 1580.

     Richard Bermingham, 11th Lord Athenry was born in 1570.1 He was the son of Edmond Bermingham, 10th Lord Athenry and Joan O'Shaughnessy.1 He married, firstly, unknown Lally, daughter of William Lally.1 He married, secondly, Gille McHubert, daughter of Ulick Bourke McHubert.1 He died in 1645 at Turlovaughane, IrelandG.1 He was buried at Abbey of Athenry, Athenry, County Galway, IrelandG.1
     He succeeded as the 11th Lord Athenry [I., c. 1280] in 1614.1
