     Herman VI Markgraf von Baden was born before 1238. He was the son of Herman V Markgraf von Baden and Ermengarde von der Rhein.1 He married Gertrud von Babenberg, daughter of Heinrich Herzog von Österreich and Agnes von Thuringe, in 1248.2 He died in 1250.3
     Herman VI Markgraf von Baden gained the title of Duke of Styria. He was a member of the House of Zähringen.3 He gained the title of Herzog von Österreich. He succeeded to the title of Markgraf von Baden in 1243.3 He gained the title of Herzog von Österreich in 1248.2
