     Admiral Edmund Heathcote was born on 29 January 1814.¹ He was the son of Reverend Samuel Heathcote and Catherine Pickering.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Lucy Law, daughter of Colonel unknown Law, on 12 July 1844.¹ He married, secondly, Jessie Hill, daughter of Charles J. Hill, on 19 August 1852.¹ He died on 29 October 1881 at age 67.¹
     He was Commander-in-Chief of the coast of Ireland.¹

     Colonel unknown Law was appointed Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.)¹

     Elizabeth Lucy Law is the daughter of Colonel unknown Law.² She married Admiral Edmund Heathcote, son of Reverend Samuel Heathcote and Catherine Pickering, on 12 July 1844.¹
     From 12 July 1844, her married name became Heathcote.

     William Eustace Heathcote was born on 18 April 1845.¹ He was the son of Admiral Edmund Heathcote and Elizabeth Lucy Law.² He married Alicia Page in 1869.¹ He died in 1884.¹

     Major Robert Walker Heathcote was born on 7 April 1847.¹ He was the son of Admiral Edmund Heathcote and Elizabeth Lucy Law.² He married Constance Elizabeth Shand, daughter of Francis Shand, on 25 October 1877.¹ He died on 8 April 1918 at age 71.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Marines.¹

     Francis Shand lived at Woolton Wood, Leicestershire, England.¹

     Constance Elizabeth Shand was the daughter of Francis Shand.² She married Major Robert Walker Heathcote, son of Admiral Edmund Heathcote and Elizabeth Lucy Law, on 25 October 1877.¹ She died on 30 November 1925.¹
     From 25 October 1877, her married name became Heathcote.
