     Frances Elizabeth Jones was the daughter of Stephen Jones.2 She married Alfred William Gooch, son of Sir Daniel Gooch, 1st Bt. and Margaret Tanner, in 1877.1 She died on 2 January 1899.1
     From 1877, her married name became Gooch.

     George Daniel Gooch was born in 1879.1 He was the son of Alfred William Gooch and Frances Elizabeth Jones.2 He married Rose Ellen Apperly, daughter of Sir Alfred Apperly, on 31 October 1901.1 He died on 13 April 1969.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.1

     Rose Ellen Apperly was the daughter of Sir Alfred Apperly.2 She married George Daniel Gooch, son of Alfred William Gooch and Frances Elizabeth Jones, on 31 October 1901.1 She died on 22 June 1946.1

     Major George Ernest Gooch was born on 29 January 1905.1 He was the son of George Daniel Gooch and Rose Ellen Apperly.2 He married Jennifer Eve Maud, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Philip Maud and Dorothy Louisa Braithwaite, on 26 April 1933.1 He died on 9 February 1958 at age 53.1
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.1 He was awarded the Officer, Order of Orange of Nassau of the Netherlands.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1

Brig.-Gen. Philip Maud1

     Brig.-Gen. Philip Maud was born on 8 August 1870.2 He is the son of Reverend Henry Landon Maud and Amelia Harriet Powell.2 He married, secondly, Hyacinthe Mary Wellesley, daughter of Courtenay Wellesley, on 19 January 1922.2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Louisa Braithwaite, daughter of Reverend J. M. Braithwaite, in 1907.2 He died on 28 February 1947 at age 76.2
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.2 He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1897 and 1898.2 He was in charge of the Abyssinian and British East Africa Boundary Survey between 1902 and 1903.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1903.2 He was chief officer of London County Council Parks and Open Spaces between 1910 and 1935.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier in 1918 in the Royal Engineers.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Engineers.2

     From 26 April 1933, her married name became Gooch.
