     Frances Elizabeth Jones was the daughter of Stephen Jones.2 She married Alfred William Gooch, son of Sir Daniel Gooch, 1st Bt. and Margaret Tanner, in 1877.1 She died on 2 January 1899.1
      From 1877, her married name became Gooch.

     George Daniel Gooch was born in 1879.1 He was the son of Alfred William Gooch and Frances Elizabeth Jones.2 He married Rose Ellen Apperly, daughter of Sir Alfred Apperly, on 31 October 1901.1 He died on 13 April 1969.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Engineers.1

     Rose Ellen Apperly was the daughter of Sir Alfred Apperly.2 She married George Daniel Gooch, son of Alfred William Gooch and Frances Elizabeth Jones, on 31 October 1901.1 She died on 22 June 1946.1
      From 31 October 1901, her married name became Gooch.

Major George Ernest Gooch1

     Major George Ernest Gooch was born on 29 January 1905.1 He was the son of George Daniel Gooch and Rose Ellen Apperly.2 He married Jennifer Eve Maud, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Philip Maud, on 26 April 1933.1 He died on 9 February 1958 at age 53.1
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.1 He was decorated with the award of the Officer, Order of Orange of Nassau.1 He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).1
