     Barbara Halsey is the daughter of Reverend Frederick Halsey and Audrey Katharine Marsden.2 She married John Parr Curgenven, son of Sir Arthur Joseph Curgenven, on 15 September 1961.1
     From 15 September 1961, her married name became Curgenven. She lived in 2003 at Old House Cottage, Combe, Witney, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1

Sir Lionel Halsey1

     Sir Lionel Halsey was born on 26 February 1872.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Thomas Frederick Halsey, 1st Bt. and Mary Julia Wells.2 He married Morwenna Granville, daughter of Major Bevil Granville and Alice Jane Wodehouse, on 24 January 1905.1 He died on 26 October 1949 at age 77.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.3 He was Aide-de-Camp to HM George V between 1914 and 1917.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)1

     Joan Halsey was born in 1910.1 She is the daughter of Sir Lionel Halsey and Morwenna Granville.2 She married George Lockhart Wood, son of Captain John Lockhart Wood, on 26 May 1933.1
     From 26 May 1933, her married name became Wood. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Denbighshire between 1951 and 1959.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire between 1960 and 1980.1 She lived in 2003 at Parsonage Piece, Whipsnade, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1
