     Captain Arthur Halsey was born on 31 July 1869. He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Thomas Frederick Halsey, 1st Bt.. He married Blanche Helen Kerr Pechell, daughter of Admiral Mark Robert Pechell and Ellen Maria Derby, on 14 April 1909. He married Dorothy Mary Leatham, daughter of Samuel Gurney Leatham, on 3 January 1922. He died on 15 August 1957 at age 88.
     Captain Arthur Halsey gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.

     Dorothy Mary Leatham was the daughter of Samuel Gurney Leatham. She married Captain Arthur Halsey, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Thomas Frederick Halsey, 1st Bt., on 3 January 1922. She died on 12 December 1950.
     Her married name became Halsey.
