Sir Robert Harding1

     Sir Robert Harding was born in 1621.1 He was the son of Nicholas Hardie and Isabel Web.2 He married Anne Sprignell, daughter of Sir Richard Sprignell, Bt..1 He died in November 1679.1
     A royalist during the Civil War, and raised a troop of horse.1 He lived at King's Newton Hall, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Master in Chancery.1 He entertained King Charles II at King's Newton Hall.1 He was appointed Knight in 1674.1 He had at least nine other children.1

John Harding1

     John Harding was baptised on 26 September 1685 at Melbourne, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Robert Harding and Jane Buxton.3 He married Alice Coke, daughter of John Coke and Mary Leventhorpe, on 12 April 1711 at Melbourne, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1,2 He died in January 1728 at age 42, without issue.1
     He held the office of Remembrancer of the Exchequer.1 He lived at King's Newton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1
