Reverend Bryan Fairfax, 8th Lord Fairfax of Cameron1

     Reverend Bryan Fairfax, 8th Lord Fairfax of Cameron was born in 1737.1 He was the son of William Fairfax and Deborah Clarke.1,2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Cary, daughter of Colonel Wilson Cary, in 1759.2 He married, secondly, Jane Dennison after 1778.1 He died on 7 August 1802.1
     He was chief mourner at funeral of his kinsman, George Washington.1 He lived at Mount Eagle, Cameron, Virginia, U.S.A.G.2 He was ordained in 1789.2 He was a Loyalist during the American War of Independence.2 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Fairfax of Cameron [S., 1627] on 15 July 1793.1 On 6 May 1800 his right to his title was confirmed by the House of Lords.1

     Sir James Cockburn of Langton, 8th Bt. was born circa 1729.2 He was the son of William Cockburn of Ayton and Frances Cockburn.3 He married, firstly, Mary Douglas, daughter of Henry Douglas, 6th of Friarshaw and of Belches and Martha Lockhart, on 31 March 1755.3 He married, secondly, Augusta Anne Ayscough, daughter of Very Rev. Francis Ayscough and Ann Lyttelton, in 1769.3 He died on 26 July 1804.3
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Cockburn, of Langton, co. Berwicks [N.S., 1627] in 1745.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Linlithgowshire between 1773 and 1784.1,2

     From 7 August 1807, her married name became Hawkins.

     Reverend Charles James Hawkins was born on 12 January 1809.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Hawkins and Anna Augusta Cockburn.2 He married Annie Mason Dixon, daughter of Colonel James Dixon, on 15 September 1831.1 He died on 14 June 1864 at age 55.1

     Commander Cæsar Hugh Hawkins was born on 4 October 1841.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles James Hawkins and Annie Mason Dixon.2 He married Annie Beatrice Wills, daughter of George Wills, on 8 May 1888.1 He died on 25 August 1888 at age 46.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     From 8 May 1888, her married name became Hawkins. From 12 April 1893, her married name became Elliott.1
