     Cecilia Mary Hawkins was born in 1816 at Kelston, Somerset, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Charles Hawkins and Anna Augusta Cockburn.1,3 She married Rev. Hon. John Baillie, son of George Baillie of Jerviswoode and Mellerstain and Mary Pringle, on 4 April 1837.1 She died on 23 September 1903.1
     Her married name became Baillie.

Reverend Charles Hawkins1

     Reverend Charles Hawkins was the son of Charles Hawkins and unknown Adair.2 He married Anna Augusta Cockburn, daughter of Sir James Cockburn of Langton, 8th Bt. and Augusta Anne Ayscough, on 7 August 1807.2 He died on 11 April 1857.2
     He was the Rector at Kelston, Somerset, EnglandG.3 He held the office of Canon Residentiary of York. He held the office of Prebendary of York.3

     Mary Holt was the daughter of Rowland Holt.1 She married, firstly, Gresham Lloyd before 1750.1 She married, secondly, Thomas Hamilton, 7th Earl of Haddington, son of Charles Hamilton, Lord Binning and Rachel Baillie, on 28 October 1750.1 She died on 7 September 1785.1
     From before 1750, her married name became Lloyd.1 From 28 October 1750, her married name became Hamilton. After her marriage, Mary Holt was styled as Countess of Haddington on 28 October 1750.

Anne Gascoigne1

     Anne Gascoigne was baptised on 24 April 1761 at St. Phillips, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Gascoigne and Mary Garbett.1,3 She married, firstly, Thomas Hamilton, 7th Earl of Haddington, son of Charles Hamilton, Lord Binning and Rachel Baillie, on 6 March 1786.1 She married, secondly, James Dalrymple, son of Lt.-Col. Campbell Dalrymple and Margaret Douglas, in February 1796.1 She died on 21 June 1840 at age 79.1
     After her marriage, Anne Gascoigne was styled as Countess of Haddington on 6 March 1786. From 6 March 1786, her married name became Hamilton. From February 1796, her married name became Dalrymple.

     Sir Charles Gascoigne was born in 1738.3 He was the son of Captain George Woodroffe Gascoigne and Grizel Elphinstone.3 He married, firstly, Mary Garbett, daughter of Samuel Garbett, in 1759 at St. Martin's, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.3,2 He married, secondly, Anastasia Jessie Guthrie, daughter of Dr. Matthew Guthrie, in 1797.3 He died in July 1806 at Kolpino, St. Petersburg, Russia.2
     He was appointed Knight. He was partner and manager of Carron Company Ironworks before 1786.2 Between 1786 and 1806 at Russia he reorganised the produciton of iron and cannon.2

James Dalrymple1

     James Dalrymple was the son of Lt.-Col. Campbell Dalrymple and Margaret Douglas.2 He married Anne Gascoigne, daughter of Sir Charles Gascoigne and Mary Garbett, in February 1796.1 He died in 1831, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 57th Regiment.2 He lived at North Berwick, East Lothian, ScotlandG.2

     Charles Hamilton, 8th Earl of Haddington was born on 5 July 1753.1 He was the son of Thomas Hamilton, 7th Earl of Haddington and Mary Holt.1 He married Lady Sophia Hope, daughter of John Hope, 2nd Earl of Hopetoun and Lady Anne Ogilvy, on 30 April 1779.1 He died on 17 March 1828 at age 74.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Haddington [S., 1627] on 19 May 1794.1 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Byres and Binning [S., 1627] on 19 May 1794.1 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Binning [S., 1613] on 19 May 1794.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Haddingtonshire between 1804 and 1834.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1807 and 1812.1

     Her married name became Hamilton. After her marriage, Lady Sophia Hope was styled as Countess of Haddington on 19 May 1794.
