     Hon. Charles Fairfax was born on 5 March 1597.1 He was the son of Thomas Fairfax, 1st Lord Fairfax of Cameron and Ellen Aske.1 He married Mary Breary, daughter of John Breary.1 He died on 22 December 1673 at age 76.1
     He held the office of Governor of Hull.1 He gained the rank of Colonel.1 He was a practising barrister.1 He lived at Minsington, Yorkshire, England.1
