     Dennis Nicholas Herbert Herbert, 3rd Baron Hemingford was born on 25 July 1934.1 He was the son of Dennis George Ruddock Herbert, 2nd Baron Hemingford and Elizabeth McClare Clark.2 He married Jennifer Mary Toresen Bailey, daughter of Frederick William Bailey, on 8 November 1958.1 He married Jill Bliss, daughter of John Llewellyn Bliss and Patricia DuBern, in February 2020.3 He died on 17 December 2022 at age 88.
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He was with Reuters between 1956 and 1961.1 He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1960 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Assistant Washington correspondent for The Times between 1961 and 1965.1 He was Middle East correspondent between 1966 and 1968.1 He was deputy features editor between 1968 and 1970.1 He was editor of the Cambridge Evening News between 1970 and 1974.1 He was editor director of Westminster Press between 1974 and 1992.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Hemingford, of Watford, co. Herts [U.K., 1943] in June 1982.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) in 1989.1 He was deputy chief executive of Westminster Press between 1992 and 1995.1 He lived in 2003 at The Old Rectory, Hemingford Abbots, Huntingdonshire, EnglandG.1
