     Mary Graeme Bell was the daughter of Valentine Graeme Bell and Rebecca Filson.2,3 She married Dennis Henry Herbert, 1st Baron Hemingford, son of Reverend Henry Herbert and Mary Ruddock, on 9 June 1902.1 She died on 24 July 1966.1
     From 9 June 1902, her married name became Herbert. After her marriage, Mary Graeme Bell was styled as Baroness Hemingford on 1 February 1943.

     Dennis George Ruddock Herbert, 2nd Baron Hemingford was born on 25 March 1904.1 He was the son of Dennis Henry Herbert, 1st Baron Hemingford and Mary Graeme Bell.2 He married Elizabeth McClare Clark, daughter of Colonel John McClare Clark and Marion Jackson, on 25 June 1932.1 He died in June 1982 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a master between 1926 and 1939 at Achimota College, Achimota, Gold Coast.1 He was the headmaster between 1939 and 1947 at King's College, Budo, Uganda.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Hemingford, of Watford, co. Herts [U.K., 1943] on 10 December 1947.1 He was the Rector between 1948 and 1951 at Achimota Training College, Achimota, Gold Coast.1 He was chairman of the Africa Bureau between 1952 and 1963.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Huntingdonshire in 1960.1 He held the office of Member of the Huntingdonshire County Council between 1961 and 1965.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Huntingdonshire and Peterborough between 1968 and 1982.1

     From 25 June 1932, her married name became Herbert. After her marriage, Elizabeth McClare Clark was styled as Baroness Hemingford on 10 December 1947.

     Hon. Celia McClare Herbert was born on 25 July 1939.2 She is the daughter of Dennis George Ruddock Herbert, 2nd Baron Hemingford and Elizabeth McClare Clark.2 She married William Howard Goodhart, Baron Goodhart, son of Arthur Lehman Goodhart and Cecily Agnes Mackay Carter, on 21 May 1966.1
     She graduated from St. Hilda's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 From 21 May 1966, her married name became Goodhart.1 After her marriage, Hon. Celia McClare Herbert was styled as Baroness Goodhart on 23 October 1997.
