Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Noel Hill1

     Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Noel Hill was born on 6 January 1881.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Rowland Hill and Elizabeth Ridley.2 He married Josephine McIntyre, daughter of John McIntyre, on 25 September 1934.1 He died on 7 September 1947 at age 66, without issue.1
     He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches five times.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign in 1920, and was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

     She was also known as Jessie.1 From 25 September 1934, her married name became Hill.

     From 31 July 1902, her married name became Gorham.

     Reverend Harry Morton Gorham was the son of Reverend H. S. Gorham.2 He married Florence Mary Hill, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Rowland Hill and Elizabeth Ridley, on 31 July 1902.1 He died on 7 February 1957.1
     He was Chaplain to Earl Ferrers.1

     Louisa Susan Violet Hill was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Rowland Hill and Elizabeth Ridley.2 She married, firstly, Hugh Alfred Cholmley, son of Alfred John Cholmley, on 1 August 1912.1 She married, secondly, John Clapham Radcliffe on 4 January 1947.1 She died on 5 January 1969.1
     From 1 August 1912, her married name became Cholmley. From 4 January 1947, her married name became Radcliffe.1
