     John Stanhope, 1st Lord Stanhope of Harrington was the son of Sir Michael Stanhope and Ann Rawson.2 He married Margaret MacWilliams.
     John Stanhope, 1st Lord Stanhope of Harrington was created 1st Lord Stanhope of Harrington, co. Northants. [England] in 1605.1

     Dorothy Dalton was born circa 1606.1 She was the daughter of Michael Dalton and Mary Elrington.1 She married Sir Giles Alington, son of unknown Alington and Margaret (?), on 2 December 1630 at West Wratting, Cambridgeshire, England.1 She died before 24 September 1638, from smallpox.1
     From 2 December 1630, her married name became Alington.1

     Giles Alington, 2nd Baron Alington of Killard was born between 1641 and 1648.1 He was the son of William Alington, 1st Baron Alington of Killard and Elizabeth Tollemache.1 He died circa March 1659/60, unmarried and a minor.1 He was buried on 20 March 1659/60 at Horseheath, Cambridgeshire, England.1
     Giles Alington, 2nd Baron Alington of Killard succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Alington of Killard, co. Cork [I., 1642] circa October 1648.1
