     Major Lindesay Knox married Ethel Mary Dennis, daughter of Maj.-Gen. James Benjamin Dennis and Emma Salmon, on 5 September 1895.1 He died on 18 December 1933.1
     He lived at Bonnettstown Hall, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 5th Battalion, Royal Irish Regiment.1

     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Grenadier Guards.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1945.1
