     At JamaicaG a merchant.2 He built Daviot House on the left bank of the River Nairn.2 He held the position of 24th Chief of the Clan Mackintosh from in 1820.1 He held the position of 25th Chief of the Clan Chattan from in 1820.2

     Angus Mackintosh, 25th of Mackintosh was born in 1755.2 He was the son of Duncan Mackintosh and Agnes Dallas of Cantray.3 He married Mary Archange Baudry dit Desbuttes dit Saint-Martin, daughter of Jacques Baudry dit Desbuttes dit Saint-Martin and Marie Anne Navarre, on 17 June 1783 at Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.3,2,4 He died on 25 January 1833.3
     He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Upper Canada]3 He owned numerous ships on the Great Lakes.3 On 10 September 1672 he was heir of tailzie and successor of Lachlan Mackintosh of that Ilk, alias of Torcastle, who was by declaration by Sir Charles Erskine of Cambo, Lord Lyon King of Arms, found to be Chief of the Clan Chattan in respect of his predecessor having in 1292.3 He held the position of 26th Chief of the Clan Chattan from in 1827.3 He held the position of 25th Chief of the Clan Mackintosh from in 1827.3
