     Reverend Thomas de Clare Studdert was born in February 1870.1 He was the son of Augustine FitzGerald Studdert and Margretta Ferguson.2 He married Rosamond Clemson, daughter of John Clemson, in 1900.1 He died on 14 February 1948.1
     He was educated at Rathmines School, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1893 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was the Curate between 1894 and 1897 at Fanlobbys, County Cork, Ireland.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1897 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a missionary with the Church Missionary Society between 1897 and 1912 at Fuh-Ning, China.1 He was the Rector between 1912 and 1937 at Croom, County Limerick, Ireland.1

     Venerable Augustine John de Clare Studdert was born on 31 January 1901.1 He was the son of Reverend Thomas de Clare Studdert and Rosamond Clemson.2 He married Marjorie Joyce Chettle, daughter of Ernest Arthur Chettle, on 22 April 1936.1 He died on 20 March 1972 at age 71.1
