     George Westropp was born on 28 February 1819.1 He was the son of John Westropp and Anna Ness.2 He married, firstly, Thomasina Julia Evans, daughter of Ralph Evans, on 31 March 1841.1 He married, secondly, Henrietta Westropp, daughter of William Johnson Westropp and Anne O'Grady, on 2 August 1865.1 He died on 4 June 1900 at age 81.1
