     Margaret ffrance was the daughter of Thomas Robert Wilson ffrance.2 She married Colonel John Thomas Massy-Westropp, son of John Westropp and Georgina Wilhelmina Stamer, on 6 June 1859.1 She died on 1 January 1885.1
      From 6 June 1859, her married name became Massy-Westropp.

     Lt.-Col. John Massy-Westropp was born on 28 April 1860.1 He was the son of Colonel John Thomas Massy-Westropp and Margaret ffrance.2 He married Georgina Kennedy, daughter of Frederick William Kennedy, on 16 June 1890.1 He died on 22 July 1951 at age 91.1
     He was educated at Portarlington School, Portarlington, County Laois, Ireland.1 He was educated at Windermere College, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 12th Lancers.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 5th Battalion, Royal Munster Fusiliers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1 He lived at Doonass, County Clare, Ireland.1 He lived at Clonmoney, County Clare, Ireland.1
