Sir George Tom Molesworth Bridges and Janet Florence Menzies.1 She married Anthony Freskin Charles Hamby Chaplin, 3rd Viscount Chaplin, son of Eric Chaplin, 2nd Viscount Chaplin and Hon. Gwladys Alice Gertrude Wilson, on 9 January 1933.1 She and Anthony Freskin Charles Hamby Chaplin, 3rd Viscount Chaplin were divorced in 1950.2
Her married name became Chaplin. As a result of her marriage, Alvide Bridges was styled as Viscountess Chaplin on 12 September 1949.
