     Anthony Freskin Charles Hamby Chaplin, 3rd Viscount Chaplin was born on 14 December 1906.1 He was the son of Eric Chaplin, 2nd Viscount Chaplin and Hon. Gwladys Alice Gertrude Wilson.1 He married, firstly, Alvilde Bridges, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir George Tom Molesworth Bridges and Janet Florence Menzies, on 9 January 1933.1 He and Alvilde Bridges were divorced in 1950.2 He married, secondly, Hon. Rosemary Lyttelton, daughter of Oliver Lyttelton, 1st Viscount Chandos and Lady Moira Godolphin Osborne, on 16 March 1951.3 He died on 18 December 1981 at age 75, without male issue.2
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.4 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1946.5 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Chaplin, of St. Oswald's, Blankney, co.
