     He gained the rank of officer in the 46th Regiment (DCLI.)1 He lived at Rhone Hill, Dungannon, County Tyrone, IrelandG.1

     He graduated from University College Dublin, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1887 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from University College Dublin, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Rector at St. Catherine's, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He held the office of Canon of Christ Church, Dublin.1
